From the moment you join The Tibbetts Group, you become part of the Tibbetts family, not just a number in a company.  Jonathan Tibbetts, our Group Managing Director, truly believes in Tibbetts and what we stand for; our business today is centred around customers, suppliers, people, product and process; employees are asked to engage with all aspects of Tibbetts to succeed within the business.

At The Tibbetts Group we very much feel the ‘culture of champions’ allows all employees to make a difference. To continually improve processes and procedures, all employees are promised a minimum of three days training per year. Employees are encouraged to request any training that they feel may assist them in completing their roles or helping them achieve their career ambitions within Tibbetts.

Our preferred methods of recruitment will always be internal applications, succession planning or direct referrals (for which we pay £1,000 taxable referral fee) as we truly believe our employees are our best source to access talent.

Every employee has a Work Performance Review appraisal (WPR) which takes place every 12 months as a minimum, where we record your performance, any training needs and career aspirations, so if you have goals you wish to achieve, we will work with you to reach them. We also appreciate that whilst this will motivate some, for others it will simply be the satisfaction in knowing they’ve done a good day’s work. Whatever you are motivated by, at Tibbetts we will be thankful for your continued hard work and commitment.

Annual Leave


Work-life balance is important to us. Our annual leave allowance is 23 days holiday (plus UK bank holidays), increasing to 25 days after five years’ service

Holiday Buying Scheme


We also offer a Holiday Buying Scheme, which gives employees the opportunity to buy up to an additional five days’ holiday per year as a salary sacrifice. Our holiday year runs from 1st May-30th April

After one year’s service all employees are enrolled in our ‘Employee Assistance Programme’. A free confidential 24/7 counselling and support helpline and website, provided by Health Shield

Annual Bonus Scheme


We want to reward our employees for their work and commitment and enjoy our success. Once employees complete their probation, they become eligible to participate in the annual bonus scheme, pro-rated in your first year of employment

Company Pension


We provide a Company pension scheme with employer contributions of 3% of your salary, in accordance with the auto-enrolment regulations

Life Insurance / Death in service benefit (to Next of Kin)


Should the worst happen, we have you covered from day one of employment

Cycle Scheme


Once employees complete their probation, they can save on the cost of a bike and/or cycling accessories through our cycle to work scheme

Long Service Awards


To reward loyalty to the company, at each five-year increment served, employees receive an additional day’s holiday temporarily in the following year

Employee Referral Scheme


If an employee recommends a new candidate to the company and meets the rules of the scheme, then they will receive a £1,000 (taxable) referral fee for helping us to recruit! A fitting example of us helping each other!

Annual Summer Social Event


Our summer socials are a fantastic opportunity to meet other employees from all across the business and celebrate our successes…. there’s also fantastic free entertainment, food, and a free bar! What’s not to like?!
